Good Business for Bad Company

Local entrepreneur secures Hive Rights

Local businessman Ruffus Cloudburst has come up trumps in negotiations over local Hive Rights this week after prolongued territorial disputes between rivals Bad Company and Le'Filthe Water Co. peaked.

Questioned over rumours of numerous squirmishes in the past fortnight between his militia and that of Ted Le'Filthe, Ruffus commented,

"Business is good at the moment, profits are up. I've no time to bother [Mr. Le'Filthe] when there's opportunities to be secured outside Gringou."

Despite an unnamed source inside Le'Filthe Water Co. suggesting Mr. Le'Filthe came out victorious when he personally confronted Mr. Cloudburst in combat, prospecters from Gringou Falls have been sighted with Bad Company employees currently surveying a number of previously unsecured local domes.

The Le'Filthe Chairman made no further comment beyond his official statement declaring the Water Co. "...in full flow..." and "...undisturbed by the activities of other downhive businesses, many of whom are also valued customers."

Whilst figures seem to be up for both firms, unsecured territory is scarce and hivers outside major settlements have been increasingly armouring their properties during the last few days, concerned over tensions between the rival militia.
